Globally we are seeing an increasing demand for water storage which is why we are also focusing on exporting our products, in addition to the Dutch home market. Our offices in Kenya and India serve these sales markets with solutions that we produce locally. We are also continuously expanding our international network by engaging new distributors.

Geomembrane
Delivery and installation of geomembrane constructions for separation in reservoirs voor drinking water storage
Commissioned by Van den Herik Kust & Oeverwerken, a geomembrane construction has been installed that serves as a separation in a reservoir for the production of drinking water. Since drinking water is stored, an reinforced PVC foil is used in drinking water quality “Genatex 930”, color blue. The geomembrane construction (separation) has a total length of 500 m and a width of 15 m. In our production location, liners are prefabricated and on location the liners are welded together on a pontoon.
Water silos
Easy to install
Water is often stored in water silos. Because of our flexible production method we at Genap are able to produce the most efficient solution for you in the form of a steel silo. These silos can have a diameter of between 1 and 32 metres and a height of between 1 and 5.5 metres. Our water silos are long lasting and are easy to install. Amongst other things, the steel plates are unique because of their ability to retain their shape and because of their mechanical tensile strength. We can also apply a particularly durable Plastisol coating to the silo plates, which extends the service life of the silo to 25 years or even longer.
Water tight
All silos are fitted with a watertight lining, Aquatex®, which has been developed especially for water storage in the horticultural sector. Aquatex® is available in a range of types and thicknesses, which are suitable for storing rainwater (clean water) and recirculation water.
Long lasting
To prevent the growth of algae and evaporation in a water silo, Genap supplies a wide range of cover options. The range also includes materials that have been specifically developed and which are suitable for storing water in countries with extreme climate conditions such as heat, cold and high UV exposure.
Slurry storage
Genap Agro has been producing and installing storage systems for slurry and water for over 60 years. Reservoirs and silo systems with geomembranes form the core of our range of products. Depending on the legislation in the various countries and regions, we can deliver various membranes and control systems for leak detection.
